The next day I repeated my Elderberry's trip and went to one of my high school's basketball games that night. They played Christ School from Asheville. Christ School is number 16 in the nation so needless to say, my high school lost. The score was 96-76. Either way it was very entertaining. After the game I went to Maggie Moo's, an ice cream place. I got a small chocolate milkshake which is what I get every time I go. I go there all the time so everyone working there knows exactly what I want when I walk in. I kind of like that. So after ice cream I went home and watched the end of the Virginia Tech/Virginia basketball game. I'm glad we pulled it out just like last time. After the game I watched the Olympics. Luge was on, which I think is so boring. That's basically all I have seen of the Olympics so its pretty frustrating. Around 11:30 I decided to go to bed. I caught up on A TON of sleep this weekend which is exciting. On Sunday I did a lot of nothing and then ate Szechuan, a local Chinese food place, for dinner and was driven back up to Tech by my dad around 6:30. Overall I would say this weekend was pretty successful. I was happy to get away for a few days.

This past weekend I decided I was tired of being at Virginia Tech so I decided to go home. I live in Roanoke, Virginia so going home was not a problem for me. I skipped my last class on Friday so I could go home earlier with my roommate. My roommate's sister drove us home which was much better than riding the Smart Bus which is what I was originally going to do. I can't stand riding that bus. It is exactly like charter buses which I don't like either. I think they smell so bad and they feel dirty to me (I'm kind of a neat freak). But anyway, when I arrived at home I began the list of things I had planned on doing while home. The first thing I did was go to Elderberry's which is a smoothie place. After that I went back home and just hung out for a while. That night I had my grandma's spaghetti and meat sauce. It is just incredible its definitely one of my favorite foods. After dinner I went home and watched a movie with my mom. I can't remember what it was so it must have not been very good.

Heck ya man I'm right with you, I love smoothies one of my fav things. I don't agree with you about the luge though I find it to be kinda interesting, figure skating would be were I say is the most boring of the events.
ReplyDeleteHow are you tired of Virginia Tech?! I can sort of see your point though. Last semester I could not wait to leave for Thanksgiving break. I had 4 tests the week leading up to it and a paper due. The week before that I had another test and every week last semester I had multiple quizes. I nearly died that week, so I could not wait to leave campus and just escape from school work all together. Living on campus is great except for the fact its school, so I begin associating the campus with all th tiring work I have to do, so occasionally I hit breaking point and just need to escape from the campus.
